The world marks World Portuguese Language Day today. This year’s theme is highlighting the important role the Portuguese language plays in maintaining human civilization and culture.
As part of the celebrations of World Portuguese Language Day 2022, Portuguese language is seen as a global platform for the learning and understanding between students and schools from different regions, countries and cultures where Portuguese is spoken and taught.
Why its Celebrated: The Day is dedicated to raise the international community awareness to the history, culture and use of each of the languages.
