YOUNGO is organizing a session to address one of the impeding needs of African Youth to accelerate climate actions; which is access to financing. Are you an African Youth with a Climate Project that requires funding then this opportunity is for you.
This event will provide a platform for youth to showcase their climate projects that requires immediate funding and for funders in the room to introduce themselves and connect with them. The main aim is to put forward viable youth-led climate projects, share their best practices, identify the needs and gaps for funding.

Eligibility: This call for interest is being circulated to select around 7-10 youth projects. Project shall be selected based on a set of criteria.

• You are a member of a youth-climate led movement or aged between 18-35 years old.
• Have a project with a duration of 3 years or more.
• Demonstrate prior experience in similar projects and/or provide long term strategy of the project idea
• Is able to share the project proposal and budget with the team and funders
• Produce a 2-minutes documentary on the project idea (longer than 2 minutes video will be rejected). It has to be engaging for the audience.

Deadline for expressing interest– 15th August 2023
