Call for Proposal l Multi-year MEL Partnership for multi-country programmes “Children in Displacement” AND/OR “Children on the Margin”

Porticus is an international philanthropic organisation that aims to create a just and sustainable future where human dignity flourishes. With 14 offices around the world, we want to provide solutions to today’s social and environmental problems that benefit generations to come in four areas: the natural environment, society, education (Building Future Generations) and faith.

The Building Future Generations (BFG) team is calling for proposals for a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) partnership for our two new multi-country, inter-regional programmes entitled “Children in Displacement” and “Children on the Margin”. These programmes focus on the systemic challenges faced by displaced children and children most likely to drop out of school (those “on the margin”), by engaging with grantee partners at both country and global level for the period 2023 – 2027.

Proposals need to be submitted by Tuesday 22 August 2023 (17:00 Central European Time). A virtual Q&A session will be held on 20 July 2021 at 13:00 (Central European Time) to answer any questions applicants might have and we encourage interested parties to participate. More details on the criteria and requirements can be found below.

Subject: Potential Collaboration Opportunity for Wayuu Taya Foundation in Venezuela

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing on behalf of the Wayuu Taya Foundation, a organization dedicated to promoting the well-being of children facing extreme adversity in Venezuela.

After reviewing the Terms of Reference for the Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Partnership for Porticus-funded Programmes, we noticed that Venezuela is not currently included as a candidate country. We believe that the Wayuu Taya Foundation would be an excellent fit for partnership, given our experience and expertise in addressing the needs of marginalized and displaced children in Venezuela.

Our programs focus on holistic child development, education, and social and emotional learning for indigenous children aged 3 to 15 who face challenges such as discrimination, violence, and poverty. We have a strong track record of implementing evidence-based strategies and monitoring frameworks to drive sustainable impact.

Let us know if you need anything from us

    Sincerely

    The Wayuu Taya Foundation
